Dear Mr. Holmes,

As a courtesy and as well, a very sincere thank you, for the assistance you provided in helping us with our claim pertaining to our pool deck. We first contacted you Mr. Holmes in September 2018, detailing the nightmare we had been experiencing for 4 years, in an ongoing battle with First General, RBC and Aviva in getting our pool deck fixed. Within 2-3 days of our letter to you, a very polite and friendly individual, (Heather Pettit, Sr Manager, Customer Response, Property Claims) contacted us. Heather stated we were on high priority and our problem would be looked after by the chosen contractor who would be contacting us. We were pleasantly surprised but admittedly, somewhat leery, considering our long plight.

 

October 1st, we had the pleasure of meeting Gary Bouwmeister. He was respectful, polite, competent and communicated effectively. Every single step along the way, Gary would call and advise us exactly who would be coming, what time they were to arrive and what they would be doing. This is someone who understands customer service as well as our needs. The staff he provided were all polite and competent! We very much appreciated his continuous communication and follow ups. Most importantly, Gary produced results! His website indicates “Multi- Award winning business for over 35yrs”. We can certainly vouch for the excellent job which was done and would highly recommend this honorable person. Whom ever referred Gary Bouwmeister, should definitely be commended.

 

Our pool deck is now completed and it looks wonderful. The claims adjuster Sarah Aboosh, called to confirm if we were satisfied, would now close our claim, and pay Gary.

 

Gary Bouwmeister also came to say goodbye and presented us with an unexpected but beautiful flower and plant arrangement.

 

In conclusion Mr Holmes, we very much appreciated your assistance. Without your help and understanding, we would never have had closure to our claim. Your intervention gave us the belief in the core values Aviva stands for.
